Restoration Journey
The Puch Mistral project began as a bare frame missing its rear wheel and showing decades of wear. After sandblasting away the old paint, I chose a deep anthracite powder coat for a modern yet timeless look. Every component was carefully restored or replaced—Shimano hubs and the bottom bracket were cleaned and re-greased, and a new Brooks saddle added comfort and style. The singlespeed conversion emphasized simplicity, with minimal cabling and a focus on clean lines. The result is a unique blend of vintage charm and modern minimalism, perfect for city rides.
